Highlights:
-Will can do all 3 steps of "patty-cake" and stops for everyone to clap for him afterwards! :)
-Will has 2 walker-type toys, but he prefers to push my kitchen chairs around the house to practice his walking.
-He is getting much more stable at standing and cruising, but no independent steps yet. He is just too proficient at crawling!
-Will also absolutely loves being outside and notices everything...birds, squirrels, airplanes, leaves falling to the ground, ants, etc!
-He points to everything and says, "dat". We could walk around and label things for hours. Love his curiosity!
-New words: hat, duck, out, up, down, hair, car, "bat-ma" (batman), "goon" (balloon) and dog
-He also has the sweetest cow, dog, duck and bird noises!
Brother Highlights:
-Jackson & Will have started looking forward to bath-time as they have bath playtime together now... and love it. They hang out and play, play, play until those sweet little toes are pruney, and it is a sad day when bath time is over.
-They also think that tooting noises are absolutely hilarious! Boys will be boys.
Jackson Highlights:
-Jackson has begun to pray for Will's desire and choice to accept Jesus as His Savior. So blessed by his heart for Jesus and his brother!
-We are trying to teach Will not to throw his food and cup off his highchair tray and Jackson does not like when I correct him. That sweet boy will hop out of his chair 50 times a meal and pick up his brother's cup so he doesn't get in "trouble". What a picture of God's forgiveness of us! I love Jackson's heart of Gold!
-I think Jackson enjoyed Will's one-year birthday party as much or more than Will...especially the cupcakes!
The one-year party was great! We had a family luncheon at Brian & Taylor's house. They were amazing to host! Jackson, as always, loved their stairs and throwing balls down the stairs. Will really enjoyed the balloons and his cake.
The one-year doctor's visit was the worst yet. You would think I would remember from when Jackson was one, but I didn't. Three shots and a bloodtest later, Will was done! Sadly, this year of shots doesn't get much better. Thankfully, he is happy and healthy and we thank God for that! His stats...
Weight: 24 lbs. 3 oz. (75%)
Height: 32 inches (95%)
These boys may be a mess!
Stairs: J's only criteria on our house hunt!
We love you, William!
Digging In!
Yum!
Not feelin' the hat :)
My 1 Year, Will!
He loves Rock, the monkey
One of Will's favorite places to play!!!
