Egg Hunt...

One of J's new favorite past times is hunting eggs. Thankfully, we have plenty. It all began about 2 weeks ago, J and I started practicing  the art of hiding and most importantly, finding Easter eggs. I thought he might not get it at first, but I was wrong. He immediately picked it up and we began hiding them in more and more difficult hiding places. His favorite place to find them is inside my closet. If I forget to put one in there, he will put one in the closet himself and go back and find it!

Here are some shots from our practicing hunts.

 Doesn't he look big???
I love that he got excited about each egg. The fun still hasn't worn off! Then, our playgroup had an egg hunt. J was far more interested in his friend's ride on toy. But, I eventually coerced him away.

He discovered they had jellybeans, M&M's, animal crackers or goldfish inside and was sold!
Yes, he is eating jellybeans off the ground.

 A dog!
Then, Easter morning we gave him his Easter basket and he began finding eggs all over Mimi & Pop's house. Every time he spotted one, he would yell "Egg Hunt"! Only a grandson could get away with finding them early! :)

 Playing with his new cars.

We had a great time and I am trying to decide when it is time to put the eggs away. He loves egg hunts!
