One of the House People...

Hello! It's been awhile. My world has been wonderful, crazy and busy for the last 8 weeks. Hopefully, I will get back to updating more often. Our new little man is here, and we could not be more in love with him. It has been quite the adjustment as we are learning to live as a family of  four, but God is blessing and we are slowly figuring out our new routines and ways of life! A huge thank you to our wonderful friends and family who have provided meals, help, childcare, words of encouragement and lots of love! We would not be as sane and well-fed without all of you. :)

I have much to write and relay about our last 8 weeks, but J said something this morning that I just loved and want to share. We discovered our heater wasn't working this weekend when the temps dropped lower than they had been. I still can't believe how little we have had to use our heater this winter, and I have loved all the beautiful days this "winter" that have allowed me to get outside with my precious newborn and very energetic toddler!

We decided to call a repairman to look at our heater. When he got here, J went through his usual interrogation of the repairman's credentials and I had to explain in detail why he was in our house. I love his curiosity and protective nature! While we were sitting at dinner, J kept watching him work on the heater and looked very concerned. Finally he looked at me and said, "Mom, he is not one of my house people." To which I said, "Well J, who are your house people." J quickly replied, "Mommy, Daddy, W and J are house people, because they live in my house!" It made my heart smile to realize that even J has fully accepted his precious little brother as one of the "house people" and is settling into our new routine. I love all of my boys and thank God for them! Here are the two cutest members of our "house people"...

Thank you, Camily Teed Photography for such wonderful pictures!
